PURPOSE:To measure the operating time without stopping the function and to monitor time over by providing a timer independently from a CPU in order to clear a counter and to start or stop count up. CONSTITUTION:A timer 13 is reset based on a start signal 16 fed from a CPU 12 to start or stop count up of a counter. The timer 13 starts counting upon reception of a count up start command signal and continues counting until the CPU finishes operation and next stop command signal is outputted. Consequently, the time required for specific operation is obtained based on the count through start/stop operation of the timer 13. When relay operation is carried out for a plurality of samplings, average sampling value of the count of the timer 13 is calculated and stored in a memory 14. Operational time over can be judged easily by displaying the average value, as required, on an external display. |
