PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize whether a picture displays the double entry winning system or the frame number forecasting system by picking up/recording odds information displayed on a TV screen and detecting the presence/absence of any specified part in a routine odds display frame on the TV screen. SOLUTION: A race display frame 102 displays a race-holding track name, and the odds are displayed at the parts of codes 101-n (n: numerical values). The window frame of a check area 102 cuts off 8×8 dots at the left edge position of the race display frame. It is detected whether any race frame exists in a check area 102b, the deviation of a reading position is detected by the positions of change points in check areas 102a and 102b and that deviation is corrected. Since the race display frame exists on the odds display picture without fail, when the display frame can not be detected, processing is finished as the other picture. It is detected whether there is a horse number display frame in a check area 102c or not, it is classified whether the picture expresses the forecasting system, the double entry winning system or the frame number forecasting system and a check area 102e is detected. |
