PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which whether a replacement container is a correct one or not can be discriminated when the replacement container is set at a specified location in a device. SOLUTION: On the external surface of a replacement container, a conductive ink layer 6 by a conductive ink is formed, and in addition, a printing layer 5 of desired characters, patterns and colors, etc., is formed on the top of the conductive ink layer 6 to hide the conductive ink layer 6 to prevent the formation of the conductive ink layer 6 from being imitated. In the meantime, on a device side, two electrodes are provided at locations which come into contact with the conductive ink layer 6 when the replacement container 1 is set at a specified location. Then, when the replacement container is set, whether the set replacement container is a correct one or not is discriminated by the presence/absence of conductivity between the two electrodes, for the constitution. |
