<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a target near the center of a PPI(plan position indicator) so as to be easily observed. SOLUTION: In the case of displaying a video as to (n+1)-th radar sweeping, the display position of the center of a PPI is moved from C to S by an infinitesimal amount. In this case, the display azimuth of the sweeping is maintained as retained in the display azimuth of n-th radar sweeping of the sweeping immediately before. Since the center C of and the target near the are displayed larger than the actual azimuthal spread, the target (e.g. other ship disposed at the position near the position of the own ship) near the center of the PPI can be largely displayed.</p> |
