PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin-beautifying agent containing a phosphorylated polysaccharide produced by lactobacillus as an active component. SOLUTION: This skin-beautifying agent contains a phosphorylated polysaccharide produced by lactobacillus as an active component. The phosphorylated polysaccharide is expressed e.g. by formula (Glc is glucose residue; Gal is galactose residue; Rha is rhamnose residue; the numbers expressed by large letters represent the bonding sites of each unit; (m) is an integer of 1-3; (n) is the number of recurring unit and is 1,000-5,000). The amount of the polysaccharide in the beautifying agent is 0.01-20wt.%. It can be used in the form of cream, milky lotion, beauty wash, etc. The agent exhibits skin-beautifying effect by the melanoma proliferation suppressing action and the melanogenesis suppressing action of the phosphorylated polysaccharide. |
