PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flexible polyurethane foam excellent in flame retardancy and heat sealability by reacting a mixture of three specified polyols with a polyisocyanate compd. in the presence of a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst, or the like. SOLUTION: This process comprises reacting a high-mol.wt. active hydrogen compd. having two or more active hydrogen groups reactive with an isocyanate group with a polyisocyanate compd. in the presence of a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, a catalyst and other assistants. A mixture of a high-mol.wt. piperazine polyol prepd. by the ring-opening polymn. of a piperazine and an alkylene oxide, a urethane-modified or ester-modified polyether polyol, and a particulate dispersed polyol contg. fine particles of an aldehyde condensate resin as a dispersoid is used as at least part of the high-mol.wt. active hydrogen compd. and the reaction is conducted in the absence of any amine-based catalyst or in the presence of an amine-based catalyst in an amt. of less than 0.35wt.% based on the whole polyol. |
