The invention concerns a collection device for waste of all kinds in the private and industrial areas. This device has a radial fan wheel (8) which is driven by a motor (2) and mounted in a housing (11) which has an exhaust opening in a wall extending peripherally to the fan wheel (8). An exhaust channel (13) is connected to this opening. The radial fan wheel (8) is designed as a shredding tool for the waste which reaches it through the intake channel (5). The exhaust area which is determined by the exhaust opening can be modified with respect to either its cross-sectional area and/or the direction of flow. |
