PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To try to prevent each ball from being broken in its oil film, and from running hot, and also try to prevent the inner surface of each pocket from being worn out. SOLUTION: The ball bearing is equipped with each inner race, each outer race, a plurality of balls inter-posed between each inner and each outer race, and with a cylindrical holder which rotatably holds a plurality of the balls, and is divided into two at its pocket position in the axial direction. In this case, respective projections 8, 8, 10 and 11 are provided for the pocket surfaces 4 of respective hold members 5 and 6 which consist of the holder 7, at both sides in the circumferential direction of the self rotating axis X-X line of each ball 3. Supporting each ball 3 by these projections 8, 9, 10 and 11, thereby allows the center parts 12 and 13 in the axial direction of the pocket 4 to be made noncontacting with each ball 3. |
