PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shells such as barnacles from sticking to a propeller by fitting a semispherical cover to the propeller of a small ship such as a cruiser when it is moored on the surface in a sea water region. SOLUTION: This semispherical cover surrounds the whole propeller to cut off the flow of sea water and prevent flowing shells such as barnacles from sticking to the propeller, it is made of a plastic 1 as a lightweight raw material excellent in durability, it is split to the right and left, and it is jointed at the center section by buckles 2. The cover is fixed by the buckles 2 when it is fitted. A rope 4 is provided on the cover to connect the cover to the handrail of the stern so that the cover is not lost when it is removed. |
