PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk cassette which is hardly infected with bacteria even if unspecified number of persons commonly use the disk cassette by providing the surfaces of the cassette halves with photocatalysts or antimicrobial members. SOLUTION: The upper half 3 and lower half 4 of the disk cassette 1 are provided with the functional members 7 of the photocatalysts or antimicrobial members over the entire part of their surfaces or in their partial regions. The surface of a shutter 6 and the inside surface side surfaces of the respective halves 3, 4 may also be provided with the functional members 7. The method for mounting the functional members 7 is executed by providing the parts described above with the adhesive members prepd. by mixing synthetic resins, such as thermosetting acryl melamine resins, etc., into the photocatalysts or antimicrobial members by printing or coating. The thickness of the coating is specified approximately 0.1 to 30μm. The compounding ratio of the photocatalysts or antimicrobial members to be compounded into the adhesive members is specified to a range of 0.1 to 30wt.%. The disposition of the functional members 7 on the surfaces of the cassette halves 3, 4 simultaneously with molding in the process of injection or blow molding is equally well. |
