PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and speed up conversion processing in a longitudinal and a horizontal directions in a plotting device for executing display by a dot unit. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a horizontal direction conversion table TA and a longitudinal direction conversion table TB and constituted in such a way that TA stores a dot extending number p obtained by a prescribed arithmetic processing at every run-length of dots which constitute a first screen being an original screen, TB stores a lind extending number P obtained by the prescribed arithmetic processing and the line number to be succeedingly plotted is plotted at every dot extending number p in the horizontal direction of the second screen and at every line extending number P in the longitudinal direction. |
