PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ability to hold electronic parts in an electronic-parts carrier tape. SOLUTION: An example of this invention comprises a carrier tape 3 having a plurality of pockets 3a each for holding a QFP 2 and a cover tape 4 which is joined to the carrier tape 3 in a manner of covering the openings 3b of the pockets 3a. The carrier tape 3 and the cover tape 4 are joined along the peripheral part 3c of each pocket 3a in the carrier tape 3 that surrounds the opening 3b of the pocket 3a and covers the two lateral sides 3e of the carrier tape 3 and a separating part 3f between adjacent pockets 3a.
