<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and closely join the mutual end edges of a connection pipe and a connection hole at the whole surfaces thereof, by fitting a core which is nearly coincident with the diameter to the inside of the connection pipe, when the connection pipe of which front end is not cylindrical, is welded with a thermoplastic resin container. SOLUTION: The end edge 22 of the fitting part 21 into a connection hole of a connection pipe 2 is machined to meet the shape of the inside opening end edge 12 of the connection hole 11 bored on the wall face of the curved inner bottom face 1a of manhole bottom member 1, to form a non-cylindrical part 23. The core 3 is fitted to the connection pipe 2 so that the front end is protruded further than the fitting part 21 to the connection hole and the projection 42 of a heater 4 is fitted to the connection hole 11. The external wall face of the fitting part 21 to the connection hole and the internal wall face of the connection hole 11 are heated to make a molten state. Thereafter, the heater 4 is removed and connection pipe 2 is cooled in the state it is fitted to the connection hole 11 so that the fitting part 21 to the connection part is coincident with the opening end edge 12. Finally the core 3 is removed. Accordingly, an easy and secure connection method can be obtained.</p> |
