<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inflow of outside air to the interior of a thermal decomposition reactor when a production amount of thermal decomposition gas is reduced due to a stop of operation. SOLUTION: A waste disposing device comprises a thermal decomposition reactor 2 to heat waste (a) and generate thermal decomposition gas G1 and thermal decomposition residues (b), a discharge device 4 to separate the thermal decomposition gas G1 and the thermal decomposition residues (b) from each other for discharge, a separation device 6 to separate the thermal decomposition residue (b) into a combustible component (d) and an incombustible component (c), and a combustion melt furnace 3 to perform combustion disposal of the thermal decomposition gas G1 and the combustible component (d). Further, an injection control device 20 and sensors 21-23 to detect a generation amount of the thermal decomposition gas G1 by the thermal decomposition reactor 2 are provided. When an amount of air flowing in a system from the outside is increased, inactive fluid, such as water, steam, nitrogen gas, and carbon dioxide, is injected in the thermal decomposition reactor 2 and the discharge device 4, and an injection amount thereof is controlled based on measuring results from the sensors 21-23.</p> |
