PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a full color image record, in which colors intermingle little, by a method wherein a sublimation dye coloring layer is formed on a support so as to bring microcapsules containing decolorizer for decolorize the hue at a low temperature coloring part at high temperature coloring into existence in a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing a leuco dye and a developer under the condition that a sublimation dye coloring layer is formed on a support. SOLUTION: When medium level heat energy is applied, decolorizer-containing microcapsules 4 in or near the uppermost layer are destructed or swollen, resulting in releasing decolorizer and eliminating a low temperature coloring image and coloring a medium temperature coloring leuco dye coloring layer Cl, resulting in obtaining the record of an image only consisting of medium temperature coloring hue, which is different from the hue of the low temperature coloring recording image, without mixing both the color tones of both the coloring layer. Further, the microcapsules 3 in the portion, to which higher heat energy is applied, are similarly destructed or swollen, resulting in releasing the decolorizer and eliminating the image on the coloring layer Cl and, at the same time, coloring a sublimation dye coloring layer (b) so as to obtain an image having the hue different from those of the low temperature and the medium temperature coloring images made of a sublimation dye only. |
