<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric current sensor with high detection sensitivity using electric field radiation phenomenon, by allowing an electric line to pass through the inside of an anode of a cylindrical radiation electrode through a gap in between. SOLUTION: A cathode 1 of a radiation electrode is a clad cylinder wherein a copper part 11 and an aluminum part 12 are assigned on the outside and the inside, respectively. An alumite coating 2 is formed on the aluminum part 12 by alumite treatment, and a barrier layer 21 is formed in alumite treatment. An anode 4 is constructed of a cylindrical copper plate provided inside of the alumite coating 2. An electric line 6 is inserted, with a gap in between, inside the cylindrical anode 4, and a voltage is applied between the cathode I and the anode 4 from an electron radiation power supply 8 through a lead wire 5, and then the current flowing in the read wire 5 is measured with an ammeter 9. At this electric current sensor, since radiation electrons react with the entire magnetic field an the identical circumference caused by the current flowing in the electric line 6, measurement is performed with high sensitivity, with a simple configuration, easy measurement and law cost.</p> |
