<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of a sheet thickness and to obtain the improvement of the yield by correcting the rolling position in a first stand based on an effective coefficient obtd. at the time of existing at the front of a sheet thickness meter and deviation of the sheet thickness at the initial side detected at the time of passing through the sheet thickness meter. SOLUTION: The deviation of a preceding material 1a to the sheet thickness at the inlet side of the sheet thickness setting and the deviation of the sheet thickness of a following material 1b at the front and the rear sides of a welding point P are measured with the inlet side sheet thickness meter 2, and the load variating value is calculated from these deviation and calculated effective coefficient. The sum of a second rolling reduction positional changing quantity and a first rolling reduction positional changing quantity as the output from a process computer 3 is calculated and on the other hand, just after the welding point P passes through the first stand, the sum is outputted to a rolling reduction control device 5a from a rolling reduction positional computing element 4 to change the rolling reductional position of the first stand. By this method, the sheet thickness changing control is precisely executed during the traveling and the yield is improved.</p> |
