SUBSTANCE: workpiece has preliminarily profiled sheet billet, faceplates attached to billet by electric contact welding and having thickness at least equal to that of billet. Faceplates are manufactured from more plastic material with smaller specific resistance compared with those of billet. Faceplates are made in the form of rectangular plates. EFFECT: reduced warpage and improved quality of parts, reduced production cost and enhanced reliability in operation.
