FIELD: water purification. SUBSTANCE: chlorinator has: filter 1; rotameter 4; glass vessel 5 incorporating reflector 6 in the form of a hollow cylinder located over inlet pipe 7 for chlorine and being coaxial with the latter; and overflow pipe 8. Glass vessel is provided with barrier 9 made as a plate with width lesser than that of glass vessel and positioned between overflow pipe 8 and outlet pipe 7. On lower cover of glass vessel 5, inlet nipple 11 is installed with back valve 12 mounted on it. Outlet pipe 7 is connected with ejector 13.
