<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of recognition and identification by providing a radar device with an infrared(IR) image display means and recognizing and identifying a target on the basis of plural kinds of images from different view points. SOLUTION: A radar image reproducing means 5 is formed of a range compressing means for improving the range directional resolution, a movement compensating means for compensating the movement of a target, a cross range compressing means for improving the cross range directional resolution in the direction crossing the range direction, and a two-dimensional memory means for storing the output of the range compressing means. A radar image display means 6 has a two-dimensional display buffer and a monitor TV, and displays the output image of the radar image reproducing means 5. An IR image display means 15 displays the image photographed by an IR camera 14. Since the IR image display means 15 is further mounted on the image radar device, plural kinds of images from different view points can be provided, and an operator 13 can precisely recognize and identify the target on the basis of two images differed in display axis for one target.</p> |
