PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image synthesis method and its device suitable for a KARAOKE equipment by synthesizing a raw image of singers on a stage onto a prepared background image so as to change a display image on a screen or on a television receiver depending on each singer so as to attract strongly interest of the singers and participants. SOLUTION: A video software stock section 26 of a KARAOKE equipment 10 stores in advance plural kinds of video software sets for background images and provides the output of a video software forming a background image designated by an operation panel 12 to a synthesis section 28. The video software includes a singer position mark 40 indicating a position at which the image of a singer is set. The synthesis section 28 synthesizes the designated background image and a song image from a song data processing section 24 and gives the result to a synthesis means 46. The synthesis means 46 synthesizes the image from the synthesis section 28 with the image of a singer 44 picked up by a television camera 36 and displays synthesized image onto a television monitor 48 and a large sized television and video equipment 52. Thus, the image synthesis method its device suitable for a KARAOKE equipment are obtained. |
