PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the ticket examination processing time while securing the passenger ticket separation function of a ticket draw-out mechanism by separating two tickets stacked on each other from each other and increasing the ticket draw-out speed when the 1st and 2nd detectors detect the drawn-out tickets. SOLUTION: When the passenger ticket 1' and 2' stacked on each other are put into a slit A as they are, these tickets are carried into a ticket examination machine body by a pair of rollers R0 and R0 '. Then both tickets 1' and 2' reach a 1st draw-out part 2 and detected by a detector S1 . At the same time, the carrying force of the upper ticket 1' is reduced by the damping action of a roller R1 '. On the other hand, the lower ticket 2' is sent toward a 2nd draw-out part 3 by a roller R1 to be separated from the ticket 2' and detected by a detector S2 . When both tickets 1' and 2' are detected by the detectors respectively, the carrying speed of the part 3 is increased up to a level equivalent to that of a carrying path 4 of a processing part (b). Then the ticket 1' is also sent to the part (b) after the ticket 2'. The recorded contents of both tickets 1' and 2' are read by the magnetic heads H1 and H2 respectively and processed. Thus the entrance of the ticket owners are permitted or inhibited. |
