<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify and discharge reusable recording sheets residing on a carrying passage in emergency stop. SOLUTION: A recording sheet management table 5 manages the condition of recording sheets on a carrying passage in accordance with instructions from a host device 6 and signal output a recording sheet sensor 7. To discharge recording sheets residing on the carrying passage in emergency stop, an instruction is given from a restarting switch 8 and, when the sensor 7 at the entrance of a discharge tray shows ON, data are read out of the recording sheet management table 5 about the condition of the recording sheets resulting in the sensor 7 showing ON. A residing recording sheet judgement part 9 determines which tray the recording sheets are discharged to and which way a gate changed to, in accordance with the data. A change control part 13 outputs an instruction to change the gate 14 in accordance with the determination of the residing recording sheet judgement part 9.</p> |
