<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital radio communication receiver with excellent frame synchronization by estimating a reception frame structure from information detected from a synchronization word. SOLUTION: In a digital radio communication system having two kinds of frame structures or over in one channel, a synchronization word detection section 1 detects a synchronization word from a reception bit series and timing control means 2, 3, 5-7 conduct timing control of a reception frame based on synchronization word detection information. A frame structure discrimination section 10 discriminates a frame structure based on synchronization word detection information and a frame structure discrimination protection stage number from the synchronization word detection section 1 and provides an output of a discrimination result as frame structure information. A frame structure discrimination protection stage number setting section 11 sets a frame structure discrimination protection stage number being a consecutive detection number of the frame structure of the frame structure discrimination condition to provide the result to the frame structure discrimination section 10. Through the constitution above, the probability of mis-recognition of the frame structure is reduced.</p> |
