PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll capable of forming an inexpensive conductive foamed body layer without causing pollution in a photosensitive member by coating a foamed body having the composition of ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber (EPDM) containing fine powder of tetra-fluoride ethylene resin around the outer circumference of a shaft. SOLUTION: A roll 1 in which a foamed body 3 having the composition of EPDM rubber containing fine powder of tetra-fluoride ethylene resin is coated on the outer circumference of a shaft 2 is provided at a part in contact with a photosensitive member. The foamed body used here is made of EPDM, foaming agent, conductive material, tetra-fluoride ethylene resin, in particular, fine powder of tetra-fluoride ethylene resin of low molecular weight, and more preferably, liquid rubber and filler are added thereto. The copolymer rubber in which a small amount of ethylidene norbonen is co-polymerized with the ethylene-propylene copolymer is used for EPDM. In addition, EPDM is preferably 15-30 in iodine value, and 50-80wt.% in ethylene content. |
