PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment which can protect a recording head while reducing the consumption of ink at the time of copying operation. SOLUTION: When a recording operation mode is a copy mode and the mounted recording head 5 is a permanent type having an ink tank separated, recording forms recorded by the recording head 5 are counted and each time recording operation for every five pages is completed, the remaining amount of ink is detected. According to the detection result, control is performed so as to quit the recording operation and display a message urging the ink tank to be replaced, or continue the recording operation. |
