PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a measuring distance attenuating ultrasonic waves by making acute the angle formed by the straight line connecting the ends of a pair of the detectors of a densitometer detector pipe and the flowing direction of a liquid to be measured and differentiating the diameter of the pipe from that of liquid transport piping. SOLUTION: A densitometer detector pipe body l is connected to piping bodies 5 allowing a liquid to be measured to flow by an inlet piping connection part 2 and an outlet piping connection part 3 and the detector ends 6a, 6b of an ultrasonic type densitometer are respectively connected to detector end attaching parts 4a, 4b. The body 1 is constituted of a cylindrical pipe with definite wall thickness having a diameter larger than that of the body 5 and the upper and lower ends of the cylinder also have definite wall thickness and are closed. A part of the upper and lower ends of the cylinder is cut off at a predetermined angle and the upper and lower end slopes 7a, 7b thereof are made parallel. The slopes 7a, 7b are equipped with openings on a predetermined axis 8 and the attaching parts 4a, 4b are provided so as to close these openings. The angle formed by the main passage of the liquid stream connecting the connection parts 2, 3 and the axis 8 is made acute. By this structure, the distance sufficiently attenuating ultrasonic waves in the ultrasonic type densitometer can be ensured. |
