PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to support an optical cable successively at a wire for hanging while existing at a fixed place with poles as scaffolds without utilizing a gondola and crane. SOLUTION: The wires of a prescribed length which are formed by coating metallic wires 1a with synthetic resin films 1b and are adapted to maintain the hardness to allow the holding of their form are spirally twisted to form the spiral wires 1. A joint pipe 2 for connecting the wires to each other is mounted at one end of the spiral wires 1. The wire 4 for hanging installed between the poles and the optical fiber cable 3 to be installed are inserted into the inner parts of the spirals of the spiral wires 1 and, in this state, the spiral wires 1 are delivered forward together with the optical cable 3. The ensuing wires are successively connected via the joint pipes 2 to the one end of the spiral wires 1 existing on the operator's side, by which the optical cable 3 is supported. |
