PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed and efficient call receptioon control in an ATM network. SOLUTION: A call reception processing and temporary band calculating part 11 receives a call based on the peak rate of the call applicated by a user. The band equal to the peak rate is temporarily assigned and, at the same time, entried to a new call control table 16 in the received call. A traffic measuring part 13 measures the traffic of the call which is registered in the new call control table 16, a band re-calculating part 14 calculates the band which the call requires at min. based on the information and the proper band is assigned to the call. |
