PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an oozing image from arising on a paper sheet owing to insufficient discharge on a surface of a photoreceptor, regardless of performing the image forming on the paper sheet. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, electric current value 11 output from a high voltage power source 20 to a transfer belt 6 through a bias roller 15 is variably controlled so that the electric current value I-out which is the value after deducting the feedback current value I2 from the current value I1 becomes to a prescribed target current value being predetermined, the current value I1 becomes large when the paper sheet P is transported in-between the photoreceptor 1 and the transfer belt 6, therefore potential on a surface part of the photoreceptor 1 with which a leading end of the paper sheet P coming into contact rises. The residual potential is accumulated on that part, although the discharge is performed by a destaticizing lamp 8 therefor, hence the oozing image is liable to arise thereon, therefore accumulation of the residual potential is prevented by making the output at the time of discharging for that part larger than the part in between paper. In this way, the oozing image is prevented from arising. |
