PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotationally drive a toner container and a toner supply roller, separately, with independent driving means for stable toner concentration and resupply and rotationally drive the toner container and the toner supply roller, separately, with the positive and reverse rotation of independent driving means. SOLUTION: A toner supply roller provided in a hopper 18 and a toner container holder gear 27 are held to be rotatable with a shaft 25 integrally provided on a toner supply roller gear 26. Rotational drive between the toner supply roller gear 26 and the toner supply roller and rotational drive between the toner supply roller gear 26 and the toner container holder gear 27 are separately transmitted with the positive and reverse rotation of a motor 28. A toner concentration sensor 39 and a toner residual sensor 34 are arranged in a developer 35 and in the hopper 18, respectively, to positively and reversely rotate the motor 28 in accordance with detected signals for automatically controlling toner to be resupplied into the developer and the hopper. |
