PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reverse revolution, loss of synchronism, increase of initial hunting, etc., by realizing a control so that excitation is started from the excited phase which is preceded by the preset quantity from the exciting effect at the stop in the starting immediately after the stop in performing the intermittent reading to suppress the overrun. SOLUTION: The image information read by a reading and scanning part 12 is once stored in a line memory 14 through a reading part 16, and accumulated in RAM 24 through the data/address bus 21 while reading the image information. In performing the intermittent reading, the preset quantity from the excited phase in the stop, e.g. the difference between the theoretical stop position and the actual stop position is set in a ROM 1, and a control is realized so that excitation is started from the excited phase preceded by the quantity at the start immediately after the stop. Because excitation is started in the vicinity of the actual stop position, reverse revolution, loss of synchronism, increase of initial hunting, etc., can be suppressed. |
