<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate dispersion in a control amount controlling tape traveling height by adjusting height of a tape guide. SOLUTION: The tape traveling height in a sound signal recording/ reproducing head 3 part recording/reproducing a stereo sound signal is controlled by the height of the tape guide 5 arranged on an exit side in the tape traveling direction in the sound signal recording/reproducing head 3. A jig tape 13 recording the stereo sound signal on an upward traveling tape 13a traveling leaned most upward and a downward traveling tape 13b traveling leaned most downward is reproduced by the sound signal recording/reproducing head 3 part, and the height of the tape guide 5 is adjusted based on the phase change of the reproduced stereo sound signal. By making a phase change amount a numerical value, the dispersion in the control amount of the tape traveling height is eliminated.</p> |
