<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for the piano hammer which hardly decrease in hardness even in the high-humidity environment while maintaining the original properties of felt. SOLUTION: In a spraying process, an about 5% v/v solution of monoethanol amine bisulfite is sprayed as a reducer uniformly on both the surfaces of a plate type felt material 10 and then left as it is in a humidity conditioning box until a balanced water content is reached. In a temporary tightening process, the felt material 11 is sectioned almost in a V shape and in a main tightening process, the felt material 11 which is sectioned almost in the V shape is wound around a hammer wood material 30, and tightened and fixed. In a stripping process, piano hammers 40 for 1st-88th keys of the piano are obtained. The piano hammers have the effect that the hardness hardly decreases even in high-humidity environment.</p> |
