PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of editing by easily recognizing a part where the translation sentence of an example sentence and an input sentence do not correspond at the time of editing the translation sentence of the example sentence similar to the input sentence of a source language. SOLUTION: In this translation supporting system, the example sentence similar to the input sentence of the source language inputted from an input means 1 is retrieved from an example sentence data base 2 by an example sentence retrieval means 3 and the part not corresponding to the input sentence in the translation sentence of the example sentence stored in the example sentence data base 2 in a pair with the retrieved sentence is retrieved as a correction object part by a correction object part retrieval means 4. Then, by a translation sentence display part 6, prescribed modification is executed to the retrieved correction object part and the translation sentence of the example sentence is displayed. |
