PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly calculate the ratio of an area to paint out as anti-aliasing even when a picture boundary line crosses with two orthogonal lines at a pixel boundary. SOLUTION: When the inclinationθof the picture boundary line 1 is 45 deg.<=0<135 deg. at the time of setting the size of one pixel to be 1×1, the area ratio is set to be X0 when the X-coordinate value X00 of the intersection of the vertical center line of a pixel and the picture boundary line is 0<=X0<=1, the area ratio is set to be 0 when X0<0 and the area ratio is set to be 1 when X0>1. On the other hand when the inclinationθof the picture boundary line 1 is 0 deg.<=0<45 deg. or 135 deg.<=θ<180, the area ratio is set to be Y0 when the Y- coordinate value Y0 of the intersection of the right/left center line of a pixel and the picture boundary line is 0<=Y0<=1, the area ratio is set to be 0 when Y0<0 and the area ratio is set to be 1 when Y0>1. |
