<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to set and register alarm parameters of many process quantity detecting means. SOLUTION: To set alarm parameters of one process quantity detecting means, a process variable PV of this process quantity detecting means is inputted through a process variable input part 11, an alarm parameter arithmetic part 13 selects a suitable alarm parameter setting pattern out of alarm parameter setting patterns registered in an alarm parameter setting pattern registration part 12 and automatically calculates an alarm parameter for the inputted process variable on the basis of the selected alarm parameter setting pattern, and an alarm parameter registration part 14 registers this calculated alarm parameter as an alarm parameter for the specific process quantity detecting means. Consequently, an operator becomes able to set alarm parameters for various process quantity detecting means through pattern selecting operation.</p> |
