<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated carrier free from peeling of the coat resin from a carrier core even in making a large number of copies and with less spent toner by coating at least a part of the core with the polymer having the structural unit containing the prescribed group on the side chain. SOLUTION: At least a part of a core is coated with the polymer having the structural unit containing the group expressed by the formula I on the side chain. The structural unit expressed by e.g. the formula II is the structural unit having the group expressed by the formula I. In the formulae, R<1> -R<5> are alkyl group, or aryl group, R<6> is hydrogen atom or the alkyl group, and (m) and (n) are integer. (n) is preferably 1-5, more preferably 2-4, (m) is not limited, but preferably 3-240, more preferably 6-120. R<1> -R<5> are preferably methyl group, ethyl group, or phenyl group, more preferably methyl group, and R<6> is hydrogen atom or methyl group.</p> |
