PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily provide a help display function through a simple operation procedure by displaying the section corresponding to a help item in a display picture for main processing while emphasizing it while holding that display picture at the time of operating a help key. SOLUTION: A help item file 5 holds information concerning the help display enabled help item among various kinds of image information to be displayed on a display part 1. Then, when a help key 4 is operated, while referring to the help item file 5, an emphasized display control function 7 controls the display state of the display part 1 so as to perform the emphasized display of the section corresponding to the help item existent in the display picture for main processing while holding that display picture. Besides, concerning the help item selected out of the emphasized and displayed help items corresponding to the instruction from an input part 3, a help display control function 8 reads explanation picture information out of a help display file 6 and controls the display state of the display part 1 so as to display that explanation picture information. |
