PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply including an electric double layer capacitor with sufficient current fed to a large load for a vehicle, along with a suppression of variation in voltage and a good reduction of influence of noises. SOLUTION: A power supply using an electric double layer capacitor has an electric double layer capacitor 10 charged by a generator 12 on a vehicle, and a lead storage battery 20. These capacitor 10 and the battery 20 are used to feed power to different kinds of loads. That is, the battery 20 feeds power to loads, such as a smaller load than those fed by the electric double layer capacitor 10, a load as a noise source, and a load with a possibility of generating a defect in operation when a variation is caused in voltage. On the other hand, the electric double layer capacitor 10 feeds a load 26 that is larger than the battery, and doesn't function as a noise source without a possibility of generating a defect in operation even when a variation is caused. |
