摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of correcting a luminescent point place inconspicuously even after the completion of the assembliyng of a liquid crystal device and its defect correcting method. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device makes the luminescent point place inconspicuous by froming an opaque light shielding film 10 on the luminescent point pixel of the liquid crystal display device. That is, in some cases, in liquid crystal display element to be constituted by inserting a liquid crystal layer 6 in between a counter substrate 2 and a driving substrate 3, a luminescent point pixel 12 is generated together with normal pixels 11. When the luminescent point pixel 12 is generated, the opaque light shielding film 10 is formed by discriminating the luminescent point pixel 12 after the completion of the liquid crystal. Thus the liquid crystal device in which whole of liquid crystal cells are regarded as defective cells due to the luminescent point pixel 12 in the conventional case can be relieved as nondefective device while making the luminescent point place inconspicuous by converting it into a reduced luminescent ponit pixel by the opaque light shielding film 10.</p>
