摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the planar burning on or wire-shaped burning on accompanying the fluctuation in image potential by branching the drain bus lines of thin-film transistors(TFTs) switching pixels and using the branched bus lines as shielding electrodes covering a part of gate bus lines. SOLUTION: The drain bus line 3 of the TFT is branched to cover a part of the gate bus line 1, by which the gate bus line 1 is shielded from the pixel electrode 6. The parasitic capacitance between the gate bus line 1 and the pixel electrode 6 is drastically decreased and eventually, the fluctuation in the pixel potential nearly proportional to the parasitic capacitance is drastically decreased and the DC components impressed on liquid crystals are decreased as well. The drain bus line 3 of the TFT constituting the one pixel and the drain bus lines 3 of the TFTs constituting the adjacent pixels are used as the shielding electrodes 7.</p>
