Conversion of coffee machine from vertical to horizontal extraction

The process involves removal of the cup-holder and filter holder involved in vertical extraction, and combination of the existing boiler with horizontal extraction equipment (5) including a body (6) with a retractable receptacle (7) for the sachet (1), which is positioned (8) between two vertical grooves and ejected by retraction of its receptacle when infusion is completed. The body is equipped with a filter plate (15) shaped and sited to co-operate with a counterpart on the boiler so that the central part of the sachet is gripped between them. The receptacle is deployed and retracted by an electromechanical actuator (29).
