PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fault diagnostic extension card which automatically generates a data base for fault diagnosis and automatically decides whether or not there is a fault according to the data base. SOLUTION: The fault diagnostic extension card 10 interposed between a connector 11 and a fault-diagnosed card (e.g. A) when cards A, B, C... which are loaded in a device main body through connectors 11 and mounted with electronic circuits are diagnosed is equipped with a selection switch circuit 2 which is so provided as to input signals outputted from the fault-diagnosed card A selectively, means (3, 4, 5, and 6) which sample, digitize and process, and update and store the signal inputted by the selection switch circuit 2 to generate the data base, and a comparison decision means (part of 5) which decides abnormality by comparing a newly sampled signal with the generated data base. |
