PURPOSE:To make it possible to industrially produce in large quantity with good reproducibility, by forming a substance of lipid membranes constitution which contains mannobiose mono-fatty acid ester and/or mono-fatty acid amide of aminodeoxymannobiose. CONSTITUTION:Using a component substance of membranes such as a phospholipid, such as phosphatidyl choline, an aqueous dispersion of liposome is prepared by a known method. To this aqueous dispersion of liposome is added mannobiose mono-fatty acid ester and/or an aqueous solution of amide, and the resulting dispersion was allowed to stand for a certain period of time. Preferably, the dispersion is heated to a temperature not lower than the phase transition temperature of a membrane or not lower than 40 deg.c, and then allowed to cool, thereby to prepare an intended liposome containing mannobiose mono-fatty acid ester and/or amide. As a constitutional substance of lipid membranes, there may be mentioned water-soluble micells, microemulsions, etc. besides the above-mentioned liposome. |
