PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to restore a faulty slave station device early. SOLUTION: The remote monitor and control equipment which monitors and controls a monitored and controlled system such as a power system connected to a slave station device 1 from a master station device 15 connected to the slave station device 1 through a transmission means 13 has a fault information input part 33 which inputs fault information from the slave station device 1, a transmission control part 35 which converts the fault information inputted from the fault information input part 33 into specific transmission data, a line processing part 37 which performs line processing for connecting the signal transmission part 11 of the slave station device 1 and the transmission control part 35 to the transmission line 13, and a battery part 39, and a monitor device 31 is added which monitors fault occurrence to the slave station device 1 and sends the fault information on the slave station device 1 to the master station device 15.
