<p>PURPOSE:To easily and surely detect mis-loading of an original cassette in which read originals are accommodated by providing plural identifying holes, detection holes and confirmation holes to a frame surrounding the read original. CONSTITUTION:When the carriage of the original cassette 10 is started and its tip passes through an identification mechanism 48 and reaches an identification mechanism drive sensor 50, an illumination light radiates to identifying holes 20a-20n of the cassette 10 from LEDs 2a-2n of a light emitting section 52 of the mechanism 48 and the illumination light passing through holes with no label 32 provided thereto reaches a prescribed photo transistor(TR) among photo TRs PT2a-2n. In this case, the illumination light radiating from the LED1 passes through the hole 22 and reaches the PT1, in which a signal is latched. Thus, kinds of read originals S and number of the cassette 10 are surely confirmed.</p> |
