PURPOSE:To utilize an elevator effectively without giving unpleasantness to the next users by installing a timer unit which detects that the condition of an open door is kept for a given period with memorized elevator call to cancel an elevator call once with the output of a timer, so as to make it possible to memorize a call newly. CONSTITUTION:An door is kept while an elevator stops at a floor position and is waiting for a call response, and when the elevator calls for other floors are memorized by a call memorizing unit 3, a call canceling timer 5 is started form that time. When the door is closed with a switch 2 closed before the time of the canceling timer 5 is up, the elevator responds to the call and travels towards a desired floor through a control portion 4. However, after the time of the canceling timer 5 is up, the elevator does not travel because the memorized call is canceled even if the door is closed. Namely, this is the reason no memorized call exists, indicating the memory of the next call is ready again. |
