PURPOSE:To provide a signal reproducing device for an optical disk using a super definition optical head capable of reproducing a signal with higher resolution and moreover, effectively suppressing the influence of a side robe. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a collimate lens 2 converting a laser beam outgoing from a laser light source 1 to parallel rays of light, a light shielding plate 3 shielding a part of an outgoing beam from the laser light source 1 and changing a converged spot shape on an optical disk 6 surface and a beam splitter 4 sending a return beam from the optical disk 6 to a photelectric conversion element 9 side. Then, a laser beam transmission plate 8 provided with a minute transmission hole 8a for the laser of a slit or a pin hole, etc., constituted of a size nearly equal to the diameter of the laser beam reconverged by a condenser lens 7 is mounted between the beam splitter 4 and the photoelectric conversion element 9. Further, the output of the photoelectric conversion element 9 is sent to a demodulation circuit through a transversal filter 11. |
