摘要

PURPOSE:To display a position and direction in superimposition by providing a means which processes an image data of a memory means to reproduce a plurality of tomographic images on a display means while computing a relation in which the position and the direction of the tip of a probe are made to correspond on the tomographic images from coordinates of a position of a marker and a position of the tip of a probe on the tomographic images. CONSTITUTION:A position and a direction of the tip of a probe 10 are made to correspond on a CT image and the position and direction are displayed in superimposition on a tomographic image of a heat reproduced on a display means 7. With such an arrangement, the position and direction the tip of the probe 10 during an operation can be checked on the CT image. A plurality of CT images are shown on the display means 7 simultaneously. But a scroll signal is generated from an arithmetic means 5 according to the position of the tip of the probe 10 so that a corresponding CT image is displayed automatically, specially when Z coordinates in a CT coordinates system is outside a range displayed.
